Last Sunday Devin graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law. Indeed it was the end of an era. There are so many things Devin won't miss: the Socratic method, fear of the rolling boulder, class rankings, final exams, etc. But there are other things he will miss terribly, like lunches at Zen Zero, Cheez-its from LaVerta's office, and life-long friendships. Sometimes we can't believe how fast these last three years have flown by. When we moved to Kansas Payton was a 16-month old toddler just learning how to climb up on the couch. Now she is four years old and stays busy teaching all her naughty tricks to her younger sister (unfortunately for us Piper is a very fast learner). Our family has truly been blessed over these last few years. Devin doesn't regret for a minute his decision to go to KU. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of miserable things about Kansas. It's too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, there are no mountains, no ocean, chiggers in the grass, and as he's writing this post Devin's eyes are all but swollen shut from allergies. But Kansas has provided us with some great friends and some amazing opportunities. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
