Soccer

A few weeks ago, Payton began another season of soccer. After her first practice, I asked her if she had fun and she said, "No, all we did was chase the ball around." I guess she forgot what soccer is all about. Now that the games have started she is really enjoying herself. The weather has been a little crazy -- we had one game rained out, one game where it was 80 degrees, and last week it was 30 degrees with blizzard-like wind. This year, her team plays three-on-three, which is new for us, but seems to be helping Payton be more aggressive. Payton has made a lot of improvement since she first started soccer three years ago. She is still working on scoring a goal during a game, but she is having a great time and loves her new cleats with pink stripes.










Piper is a great little cheerleader when we can keep her off the field and out of the teams oranges.
