Goodbyes

It's that time of year again when we have to say goodbye to friends. One of the best parts of our law school experience was the friends we made. We made so many dear friends that we will always remember and hope to stay in touch with. We said goodbye to many of them last year and more are leaving this year. Yes I'm a little jealous they are getting out of Kansas and we haven't... YET, but we are also so excited for them and the new adventures that lie ahead for them.
Last weekend we were able to get together with Luke and Sam and their adorable boys. We had a great time catching up. Payton has always loved Jake and she had so much fun playing with him. Hopefully Piper didn't terrorize baby Charlie to much, she couldn't get enough of him. I can't believe it's already been three years since we meet. They were wonderful friends and neighbors, and it was nice to have people around that were going through the same things we were. Hopefully they will come back and visits us often.
We had a wonderful dinner at a hibachi grill. I was afraid the girls would be afraid of the fire but they loved it.

We also had to say goodbye to my brother, Trevor, and his family. He just graduated from Chiropractic school in St. Louis. They were able to come spend some time with us before they moved to Seattle. Payton is a little mother hen and Reese was her new toy for the weekend. They had a great time playing and having a dance party. We've had some great trips to see them in St. Louis and have always enjoyed them visiting us. It was nice to have them so close the last couple of years. We will miss them!
