Last week we were finally able to get some of the Gilbert bunch to come visit us in Kansas. Tractor Grandma came from Washington, Tiffany and her kids from Virgina, and Trevor and his family from St Louis. We took the kid to Deana Rose Farmstead, feed the goats, rode the tractors, and went fishing. We were able to go to Independence, MO and see the "Reflections of Christ" art display at the church visitors center. We did a lot of playing and of course a little shopping. Payton had a great time with Logan and Samara, and kept busy playing in the basement, riding bikes, playing games, and picking out new books with grandma. Piper enjoyed stealing binkies and playing with her little pals, although I think Gavin's ability to cut teeth and Reese's walking skills and luscious hair may have been to much pressure for her. We had a great week and were sad to see them leave. It's hard to live so far from them so we really look forward to their visits. We're already counting down until we see them again at Christmas!
